Corn Bread

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup yellow cornmeal
3+ tablespoons white sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup skim milk
1 large egg, lightly beaten
Optional: 1 can whole-kernel corn

1. Preheat oven to 425 F.
2. Stir all ingredients together.
3. Pour in a greased 8x8 pan and bake for 20 min.

The amount of sugar is variable.. I prefer mine sweet, so I add some more.
