I made a terminal error on Tuesday. It's "reading week" (an evil way of renaming spring break so that teachers feel justified in giving out lots of work), so I needed some small amount of relaxation tv time, but I have 3 midterms and 3 assignments next week, so I also have to commit to serious serious work.

So I went to the video store, and rented most of the first season of 24.

What was I thinking???!!

I've already seen a lot of the middle of the first season, but never the beginning or the end, and I really wanted to watch it all in order. I thought cause I'd seen a lot of it that I could restrain myself.

Oh no. I've watched 16 episodes in 2 days. And that's despite spending most of yesterday hiking.

I need help! Do they make a support group for this?

It's weird, cause it's actually having an almost drug-like effect on me. I had to take a break in the middle of an episode to go rent snow-shoes before the store closed, and I found myself so wound up I was almost twitchy. I get the same way sometimes in the middle of exams when I've spent three days cramming for several different courses, and my brain is operating overtime trying to process information.

*lol* anyway, just thought I'd share. Has anyone else had this problem with the show? I think it's because I actually watched from the beginning, and I had the DVDs, so once I started I was just powerless to stop.

Aaaarrrgh, I have so much work to do! Anyway, I've come in to school to finish a couple assignments, and I'm not allowed to go home until I'm done *lol* I don't have any more episodes right now anyway. *sniffle*
