I was bored halfway through the first episode of Lost. Being a Lit major and 25 years of teaching Lit can be a curse. If I see a cliched pattern, and start to accurately predict characters' reactions and actions, I reach for the remote. My husband, on the other hand, is a Crappy-Movie Fanatic, particularly on the Shadowland channel, so I'm frequently told to keep quiet or remove myself. *l*

My biggest groans go to Battlestar Galactica (which husband adores) and Stargate (same, although I tend to groan more quietly because I'm swooning at the guy with the logo on his forehead).

My husband also tortures me with (the Canadian show) Trailer Park Boys. That show goes on and on and on and on and zzzzzzzzz, yet I always hear my husband howling at it.

Then again, I'm an E.R. fanatic, which also seems to go on and on and on and on. Same with every Star Trek series (except the current one which is bloody awful). My favourite Star Trek series was with Captain Janeway, because I admired the actress, and I lusted (audibly) about her First Mate. I think Husband's favourite was The Next Generation, for the same reason re the empath.

Sorry for being dumb, but what does aSolaF stand for? I missed that somewhere along the line.

:-) Ruth.
