: : Man, am I full! I decided to clean my plate at our Saturday Lunch Mexican Restaurant. They have excellent food, and I was really hungry since Mister E had decided to sleep the day away, the little brat. Now I feel like a lion that has feasted on a couple of juicy zebras.

: : So, I got the new Steven Erikson book in the mail yesterday - The Bonehunters. 884 pages of battles and gore. Last year I had this plan to re-read all the other books in the series before starting this one, but I never got around to it. I'm still considering it, sort of. Maybe a reality check would be in place? Five books - a total of 3534 pages in trade paperback. I think I could possibly manage 30 pages/day on the train, four days/week. That means I would be done in 29.5 weeks. What's that, October? Ah, no. And yes, I'm a geek, why do you ask?

: : But first, the book club book. I believe I'm about a week behind schedule.

: chris convinced me to do an erikson reread before i start the latest book. so far i'm about 2/3 of the way through gardens of the moon :-) he says the last one is good.

: the book club book is rather blah, imo. maybe i should actually make a post about the details of the blah *l*

Blah describes it pretty well, imo. *l*

but i really, really need to go do some work now - kayaking and grocery shopping have eaten up most of the day already, yikes!
