: Man, am I full! I decided to clean my plate at our Saturday Lunch Mexican Restaurant. They have excellent food, and I was really hungry since Mister E had decided to sleep the day away, the little brat. Now I feel like a lion that has feasted on a couple of juicy zebras.

: So, I got the new Steven Erikson book in the mail yesterday - The Bonehunters. 884 pages of battles and gore. Last year I had this plan to re-read all the other books in the series before starting this one, but I never got around to it. I'm still considering it, sort of. Maybe a reality check would be in place? Five books - a total of 3534 pages in trade paperback. I think I could possibly manage 30 pages/day on the train, four days/week. That means I would be done in 29.5 weeks. What's that, October? Ah, no. And yes, I'm a geek, why do you ask?

: But first, the book club book. I believe I'm about a week behind schedule.

I did my Erikson re read a while ago. End of last year I think. It does take a while, but it's worth it imo. I am about 200 pages into the new one now. We ordered it from Amazon weeks ago, but I was saving it until this week cos we're visiting the inlaws so it's much easier to read lots here than while working all the time. Of course, the deal was that Uli would have it finished before we got here and then I could take it. Needless to say she was only about halfway through when we were doing our 6 or so hour drive to the airport yesterday so I ended up buying another copy for me to read. Something we've only done before for WoT. Of course, the extra copy of this one can go to my brother who I got into Erikson as well, whereas I would never give up one of my little WoT babies..
