: Wow! I've known a few fellow union activists who knew the first verse and got us singing the chorus, but I've never known anyone who actually printed it on a website!
: Way to go.
: May 1st is a holiday for *a large minority* of people on the planet: all of China and the Slavic countries, at least. I'm Croatian-Canadian -- Mom wished us "Happy Workers Day" every year and we kids in the Croatian orchestra had to perform in the annual Workers Day concert.
: This year, at school where I work, it was just another Monday Bloody Monday.
I can't imagine working on the 1. of may. It's the workers day. A day to celebrate, march together and feel the strength of your fellow wage slaves.
*S* I was so proud this year cause my daughter Viola sang the internationale with me as we marched. And she's got a great singing voice so I assume that by 2007 she'll be leading me through the verses.
And if I'm not much mistaken I do believe I've posted the internationale on this board every 1. of may since I joined.
