Caleyna, good point re religious overtones. Lots of books have religious overtones and undertones, but this one obviously has its whole plot as religion based, Christianity based. Maybe that's why I haven't opened the pages to read it yet.

After finishing the trivial facts book, "Is Greenland Really Green?", I'm now re-reading (1) Truman Capote, "In Cold Blood," (2) James Herriott, "Complete Stories", (3) "Surviving Extreme Weather", and (4) the 2006 issue of Guiness World Records. During these enjoyable reads, I can't quite get in the right mood to open The DaVinci Code. Maybe I will around Christmas time? *g*

By the way, just curious, which baby-raising books have you and your man read this past year? For example, I'm interested to know if Dr. Spock is still relevant to moms and dads these days? His volume was considered revolutionary back in the dinosaur days when I was a toddler.

Cheers,
Ruth.
