: Thanks Jade!
: Oh right about myself..well i just completed my masters in accounting in australia, and am supposed to be going for a job interview in about 2 hours(eee) looking for work is NOT easy!! I'm 24 and right now i love books and movies and cooking...no more late nights for me..
: I was trying to reread David Edding's The Tamuli but less than halfway through the first book i realised why i didnt finish it in the first place..
: Yeah i think A Song of Ice and Fire is really good. I finished the first four books a few years ago, and was very impatiently waiting for the Feast for Crows which i just read..I had to reread the whole series of course before that of course :D

I suppose I could tell you something about myself since you shared about yourself. Turn about is fair play, after all.

I'm a former English teacher, though I only taught three years so it barely feels like it counts. The last few years I've been bouncing around in the education field but I'm currently a stay-at-home-mother to a seven month old. I would post pictures because he is so danged cute, but maybe that would be going a little overboard.

I am married to another poster here, Mike (aka Bubba). We met on this board when I first started it lo these many years ago. We started out at a WoT board and he is still a total WoT freak. You'll see the posters here go crazy when the next book is released (assuming it ever is released. RJ is in very poor health).

I don't have a lot of time for reading these days, but I am not strictly a fantasy fan. I also like thrillers and a few chick lit type of things (big Jennifer Weiner fan).

I am a big Hobb fan as well, though I was not very impressed with her latest offering. I can't even remember the name of it! Something about a Shaman I think. The main character was just way too boring. Now the big question: Do you like Farseer or Liveship better? I'm firmly in the Liveship camp, though I think the Tawny Man series was the best.

What else?

I live in the Washington, DC area though I am orginally from the west coast of the US. I'm 32 (how did that happen???). I want to be a writer when I grow up.

Good luck in your interview!

Caleyna
