: so I'm on a bit of a download blitz, and happened to download Farscape: Peacekeeper Wars. Now, the thing is, I haven't really seen all that much of Farscape. I think most of season 1, and some of season 2, and odd episodes here and there of later seasons just whenever it happens to be on... Typically I had no idea who half the characters were or what the hell was going on *lol*

: Should I save Peacekeeper Wars for after actually watching the show (it's on my download list, and it might even jump into line ahead of Babylon5, since I've seen B5 enough times already), or just go ahead and watch it?

You should delete it and stop downloading illegal copies. *g*

But, since I know you won't ... *g*

Save it.
There is no point watching it if you don't know who half the characters are, it would be like watching the last few episodes of season 5 of Buffy without having seen the arrival of Dawn, the explanation of who she is or even that one former villain is now a good guy. It will make very little sense and have nowhere near the same emotional impact that it could.
With just two exceptions, EVERY character that has travelled on Moya at some point during the four years previous has an important part to play in the miniseries and the bad guys are all well established and explained fully in the normal show. Watching the miniseries without knowing who half these people are, heroes or villains, would be silly.

Farscape is like Babylon 5, it builds on what has gone before and rewards viewing in order. And trust me, it is most definitely worth it ...
