A few people have asked me where I got those "moral" quotes I used in my 100 Questions thread. Well never a one to do things the easy way, I thought I'd see who could tell me where any of them are from. Here are the ten quotes:
"An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth"
"Life does not forgive weakness"
"It is the enemy who can truly teach us to practice the virtues of compassion and tolerance"
"The state can do what they want to do"
"If I had to choose between betraying my country and betraying my friend, I hope I should have the guts to betray my country"
"If the path be beautiful, let us not ask where it leads"
"Crime is a product of social excess"
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"
"And mankind is naught but a single nation"
"Bulimia is soooo '87"
How many of them can you identify?
I'm going to post three Clue posts in response to this one so if you wanna take a guess/comment/retort/insult any of the quotes or sources, please do so by replying to the Clue thread you got to. Meaning that if you feel like commenting on the bulimia quote after seeing the first clue, comment on it in a reply to the first clue post. You get me? *g* It makes it more interesting to see what clues people found helpful/didn't find helpful.
