: Didja miss me? Huh? HUH?

: I bet you didn't even know I was gone.

: We got back from Oregon yesterday morning about 6:30 am. They don't call those overnight flights red eyes for nothing. Mike thought I'd been smoking lots of pot. Erik slept the whole way back so at least someone was well rested. He has major jet lag today, though. I finally woke him up at noon. This does not bode well for this evening.

: I read the last of the Tamir trilogy while I was gone! It's about time! The first 150 pages or so had me pretty worried since they just seemed like a re-hashing, but then it got really, really good. I think I need to re-read the other Flewelling series to see how it fits together.

: When I finish a good book I want to read another good book ASAP, thus I bought some crap called The Hidden Queen by Alma Alexander. I must have been on a Queen kick. I didn't even get 1/3 of the way into it and doubt I'll ever finish it. It started out with promise and would have been a good story if the author would show instead of tell. Big doings happen in less than a paragraph. Plus, the author has no control of her POVs, skipping from one person to the next in the space of two paragraphs. Bad, bad book.

: I shifted gears and read The Lincoln Lawyer by Michael Connely and that was some seriously good stuff if you like crime/thrillers. It was from a defense lawyer's perspective, which made it rather unique (for me at least).

: Ok, time to go take a shower if MisterE will let me. I discovered the most interesting toy ever (a sippy cup filled with cheerios) so maybe that will keep him entertained.

Welcome baaaaaack!!! Of course we knew you were gone and yes, you were missed. ;-p
