well, I'm reading "Folk and Fairy Tales" for the children's lit course I'm taking. It's pretty much just a collection of fairy tales, but with multiple variations, and discussion of the differences, and some modern varieties.

Let's see, I did a heap of reading over my 3-week break... ooh, I read His Dark Materials series by Phillip Pullman. It's supposed to be children's/YA, and starts out kind of cute, and then gets quite serious by the 3rd book. I really liked them, but knowing you, you may have already read them. About the only other thing I've read lately is de Lint. I don't even remember which ones. After that I did writing.

I'm currently in the process of typing up my hand-written stuff from the last year. I scared myself thinking that I'd lost some of it, and realised I had no copies, so now onto the computer it goes! But I have no MS Office at the moment, so it's being done with wordpad *lmao*

anyway. Sorry, not too many book recommendations at the moment! I'll let you know how the children's lit course goes, though, and if we read anything really good.
